I was scouring the net for a decent PS2 to 360 Controller converter and this product certainly fits the bill.

As "Bargain Fiend" said in his above review, the only complaint I have with this product is it being cumbersome: You have to have a Wired 360 Controller connected to the converter ON TOP of your PS2 DualShock ALREADY connected to your Frontal USB port. While a small annoyance, I dont find any reason to lower the score at all. And the Directions.... Overseas Companies really need to brush up on their engrish as the so called instruction manual is comically written. You could easily figure this thing out on your own. Get past those small issues and its smooth sailing.

Simple steps to make sure that you will get your Converter to work:

Initially start your 360. Plug in your Converter into your USB Port. Then plug in the 360 pad, followed by your PS2 Pad and viola!! You have full controll utilizing your DualShock2!!

Lastly, Im an avid Tekken 6 player, or just a big fan of fighting games in general, and I totally despise the 360's D-Pad. BlazePro's offering is a perfect purchase for anyone looking to play Fighting Games utilizing their old PS2 Controllers and Joysticks. Coolest of all, the Analouge Button functions as the Guide Button (Not really a big deal, but cool none-the-less)!! And for those of you wondering, I had to purchase GameStop's Branded Wired 360 controller for $25.00 to get this to work as I did not have an official Microsoft Wired Pad.

In the end, solid and completely functional.

Go for it.

A Rare find!

Reviewer: S. Durias,
I've been searching for a good PS2 to XBox 360 controller converter for the past couple of years to use for fighting games, and other classic arcade games that rely heavily on the D-pad. I'm sure converters like these would've been easier to find in Asia and if Lik-Sang's site was still operational... Thanks a lot, Sony!

I'm only giving this 4 stars because its design requires you to connect a wired Xbox360 controller to it in conjunction with the PS2 controller in order for it to function. You must use a Microsoft genuine wired controller for this to work. It works by fooling your Xbox 360 by letting it detect the original 360 wired controller while it "maps" the control signals to your PS2 controller. It was an annoying realization at first because I didn't own a wired controller, and had to shell out another $22 to purchase one (Amazon has the cheapest price). But this shouldn't be a problem to those who all ready own one.

This is made in China and the instructions for this are horrible! Just make sure to put the switch "NOT" on Joystick position... you'll see what I mean when I say that "the labels are not the same as in the given instructions." If it doesn't work at first, just hit the switch the other way.

Aside from a somewhat tacky way of its design having to rely on a wired xbox 360 controller and its poorly written instruction manual, the quality and reliability is actually quite excellent. This is a great converter to have. It's pretty inexpensive compared to the other types available in North America that are selling for at least twice the price. But then again those offer features not available on this device, such as support for PS3 controllers, keyboard, and built-in rapid fire.
